There are
many employment opportunities in the healthcare sector that
are not healthcare related. Think of a hospital or
clinic as a business, and what types of occupations are
necessary to operate that business?
All
kinds of employers need healthcare workers. Hospitals, medical
and dental clinics, and the military will no doubt come to
mind…but don’t forget school districts, state and local
government offices, fire departments, ambulance services,
residential care facilities, medical laboratories, large
utilities and manufacturing firms, social service agencies,
hospice service providers and many more.
